Costa Blanca – My choice for a better life

Costa Blanca – My choice for a better life

Costa Blanca means „White Coast”, the name comes from beautiful, sandy beaches and cliffs which create a white shaded landscape. Why have I chosen to live in the region of Spain?

Spain is undoubtedly one of the best European  countries to live in; the Mediterranean climate, sun almost all year round, healthy cuisine, beautiful landscape and hospitality of the inhabitants. Spanish people are very cheerful, I would say always smiling, they are open and helpful. They like Poles a lot and they say that they have a lot in common with us. Spain, just like Poland, is a catholic country but not only….we also are family-oriented, hospitable and patriotic, we even have similar cuisine.. ( Spain is not only seafood or paella, they have a soup similar to our chicken soup, coated cutlet and even pork knuckle).

Costa Blanca has been recognized by the World Health Organization as one of the most healthy places on Earth. Stable microclimate, sunny days with pleasant temperatures and the geographical location are one of the main factors influencing the quality of life in this region. The average temperature is 18 degrees and for 320 days per year we can enjoy the sun. During summertime the heat is not as extreme as in the south of the country and winters are very mild.

Costa Blanca is surrounded by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, and just a few kilometers  to the west, there is  an inland mountain range from Murcia to Denia. The mountains are from 1000 to 1500 meters high and they act as a buffer for the weather conditions coming from the sea and the land, keeping the weather mild in all regions. Additionally, about 50 km from Alicante, there is a town called Torrevieja and there you can find two salty lakes, one of them is in candy pink color.

Laguna Rosa, the two biggest salty lakes in Europe, are located in the De la Mata Natural Park  in Torrevieja. The Candy pink lake is just one of the few in the world. It has therapeutical properties which stem from the health-promoting climate, it influences the recovery of the body in lung, skin and joint diseases. Brine mud contains valuable ingredients  like potassium, magnesium, silica and many more minerals. Tourists visit this place to indulge in therapeutical mud baths.

Costa Blanca especially fosters individuals with respiratory system problems, asthma, skin problems, such as open ulcers, psoriasis and allergies, This microclimate significantly improves the health of those with rheumatism and other muscles or joint issues.

The Spaniards enjoy a long life to the fullest, as a result of propitious climate and healthy food. The Mediterranean cuisine consists mainly of fish, olive oil, fruits and vegetables, contributing to the relatively low number of circulatory system diseases. It is worth to remember about the traditional southern nap called “siesta” which is an important factor in a healthy lifestyle. However, this microclimate does not only impact our physical condition; It is said that living in climate, such as the one on Costa Blanca, helps improve our mood, making us happier and healthier.

Not many people are aware that the Spanish healthcare is one of the best in Europe, and even in the world, which is crucial nowadays.

Another major advantage of living in Costa Blanca is  a wide net of plane connections to Alicante, both from many cities in Poland and to many other European cities. Nowadays, it is crucial because during the pandemic, flights to Malaga ( Costa del Sol) were cancelled, whereas to Alicante only reduced, from 3 to 2 per week. Moreover, the airport in Valenzia is in close proximity and it is also very well connected with Polish cities. As a last resort, one may fly to Madrid, from where it is only a two-hour train ride to Alicante.

Costa Blanca is a region where you can rest away from the tumult, but if you desire to go crazy, you will get your adrenaline shot here. Costa Blanca offers a variety of water sports, it is also the cradle for bike lovers and it flaunts the best golf courses in Europe. Horse riding fans will feel as in paradise because horse riding is very popular here. Those who want to rest on the beach, have plenty of beaches to choose from, both sandy and pebbled.

Poles are not the only ones who find Costa Blanca popular ,but it has also become attractive for  the Scandinavians, the English, the French, the Belgians, the Dutch, the Germans, and recently the Hungarians. You can also meet there many tourists from South America.

Costa Blanca is a dark horse in the tourism industry, It attracts a lot of attention of tourists from all around the world, which makes it a huge investment potential. Now is the time to buy property in this region because the prices are still lower than in other regions, however growing. For instance, a property  bought a year ago on the second hand market for Euro 219.000 ( the so-called off plan), is worth Euro 290.000 now. Costa Blanca offers a unique lifestyle and favorable investment opportunities which attract people from all around the globe. It is a place where the sun and the beneficial factors of the microclimate impact the quality of life and make all worries disappear on the beautiful beaches and in blue sky. That is why I have chosen Costa Blanca as the place to live and I recommend it to my clients. Here, I can enjoy a better life and at the same time have confidence that my clients’ investments will be profitable and satisfactory. Costa Blanca is my home, a place I have chosen for me and my family and a place where dreams come true about a sunny lifestyle and future.
